NIE 17.2 underway at Fort Bliss, White Sands Missile Range

Gary Martin, Program Executive Officer For Command, Control, Communications-tactical, visited Network Integration Evaluation 17.2 last week, prior to the record tests and discussed communications capabilities with Soldiers from the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), the operational unit for the event, at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Among PEO C3T systems being demonstrated at NIE 17.2 are the Mobile User Objective System, or MUOS, the Tactical Communications Node – Lite, or TCN-L and Network Operations and Security Center-Lite (NOSC-L). NIE 17.2 runs July 11-30 at Fort Bliss and at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.
