Harford Boulevard & Rodman Road; 4 p.m. Events to include: a holiday parade through Patriot Village, festive music and carolers, the lighting of the official installation holiday tree and a special visit from All installation personnel and their families are invited to attend. DECEMBER 16 – SPECIAL OPENING FOR CHILDCARE

Bayside CDC, Bldg. 2521 (infants through 5-years-old); Aberdeen Youth Center, Bldg. 2522 (K through 5th grade); 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $20 per child, max five hours. No prorate.

Get some last minute holiday shopping done with childcare provided on a Saturday by CYS Services staff. Lunch will be provided (no outside food permitted). Children must be registered prior to reservation.

Registration: Nov 27 – Dec 12. Currently registered patrons may make reservations at centers.

DECEMBER 27-29 – 4-H/ARMY CYS BABYSITTING COURSE

Bldg. 2503; 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ages 13-18. Free. Registration required. Class to familiarize participants with all the responsibilities of babysitting as well as certifying the participant in CPR/First Aid. Students will receive a certificate of completion as well as their CPR /First Aid cards, fire safety, child abuse awareness, and medication training. WEDNESDAYS – ULTIMATE FRISBEE OPEN PLAY

Shore Park; 5 to 7 p.m. Ultimate is a limited-contact team field sport played with a frisbee. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. Other basic rules imply that players must not take steps while holding the disc (must maintain a pivot) an that interceptions and incomplete passes are turnovers. All levels are invited. DENTAL CLINIC HOURS & TRAINING CLOSURES

The APG North Dental Clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday; Urgent Care, 7 to 8 a.m. The APG South Dental Clinic hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Wednesday; Urgent Care, 7 to 8 a.m. On the first Wednesday of the month both Dental Treatment Facilities close 7 a.m. to noon for standardized training. The APG North Dental Clinic is open for scheduled appointments in the afternoon. On the second Thursday of the month both Dental Treatment Facilities close all day for DENTAC standardized training.

2018-2019 SENIOR SERVICE COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

The U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center is currently accepting applications for the 2018-19 SSCF program through March 30, 2018. The SSCF Program is a 10-month educational opportunity conducted under the auspices of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Detroit, MI; Huntsville, AL, and Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.

The SSCF program prepares government civilians at the GS-14/15 levels or equivalent for senior leadership roles by provides training in leadership and acquisition. Program components include completion of DAU’s Program Management Course (PMT 401), courses in leadership, applications of acquisition to national defense issues, research in acquisition topics, mentoring, and a distinguished speaker program.
